David began filming whilst putting together visuals for his DJ sets.
He first noticed Brick filming (stop-motion animations using lego) after watching ‘Doc Oc’ by Tony Mines in 2003 and in 2005 decided to try it himself.

From 2010 to 2012 he won 9 film awards for his Odd Jobs animation about minimum wage workers and has just finished working with Hospital Records to produce The Duel.

David’s animations are now 100% ‘Real-motion’ meaning all effects are in shot with no use of CGI. He uses the Active Ingredients name for works involving other artists.
He’s recently taken a step into actual film and is currently working on an action piece that will be completed in July.
