Damian Ontiveros
Mexican artist born in northern city Monterrey.
Bachelor in Graphic Design. Coursing Ph.D. in Art and Humanities.
Visual artist with emphasis in animated drawing. His work is always related with social phenomenas, specifically power, domain, knowledge and discipline. He has exhibited his artwork on 16 solo shows and more than 90 group shows around the world, including México, United States, South Korea, China, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungry, Slovakia, Italy, Spain, France, Argentina and El Salvador.
He has represented México at the 5th Media City Seoul Biennale, the 1st 798 Beijing Biennale, the 2003 Bolivia Biennale, and ARCO 05 (México guest country)
His work is on important collections, like the Maison Rouge; Paris, La Colección Jumex; México City, El Museo del Barrio; New York, The Art Newspaper Publishing; London, and many other important private collections.
