Juan Manuel Castrillo (Argentina)

Juan Manuel Castrillo

Artist focused on music and sound mostly but also in video art.

Studied electric guitar, sitar, jazz vocabulary, music theory, solfeggio, harmony, improvisation and specialized in arabic percussion. Also graduated as Sound Technician.

He toured Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Brasil and Mexico.

Today he give classes, seminars and workshops and performs both as percussionist and sound artist.

Recently, together with other artists material, some of his video art pieces were exhibited at the Contemporary Art Center of Córdoba (Argentina, 2010) and also collaborated with Pamela de La Vega’ s video art exhibition “Alugalivingston”, which took place at the National University of Córdoba (Argentina, 2010).
