Silvia Bianchi aka Blanche is vj and visual designer; despite her young age, she was born in 1984, she’s got an huge experience as live performer and as producer of vjing and visual-related events. She is director of the italian-vj community portal Vjcentral.it and collaborator of the e-mag Digimag.
As vj she worked last year with SoulJazz rec, Richard Dorfmeister (G7), Andy Smith (Trojan Rec.), Daniel Meteo (Scape), Ellen Allien (B-pitch), Apparat (Shitkatapult), Daedalus (Ninjatune), Tomboy (Kitsunè), Black Strobe, Jeff Mills, Chloè (Kill the dj), Water Lilly (Mental Groove) and many more.
She has been curator together with Claudio Sinatti, Valentina Besegher, Antonio Zavagli and Mattia Casalegno of the dvd Mixing Identities, grow up from the collaboration between
VjCentral.it and the international festival ElettroWave.it.
She had worked as a tutor in the first italian Vj School, a project coordianated by Claudio Sinatti and Davide di Gandolfo for European Institute of Design ( Milan ) students.
She had partecipated at several international festivals such as Lpm 05 (Rome), Homework Festival (Bologna), Elettrowave, Fabbrica Europa, Marry Klain (Muncih), VisualBerlin (Berlin) and many more..
In January 2007 she as been selected as visual artist of the month by the website onelikenoone BMW One serie.
