Born in Los Angeles of Argentinean and Spanish parents, David Vegezzi lived in Buenos Aires for 10 years before returning to LA to attend Calarts in 1994. He graduated from fine arts with two short experimental films and immediately began working in various design houses in LA. Eager to enter the live action arena, he independently approached KCRW who financed him to create and direct a commercial for the station that is currently being played at the Egyptian Theater and at select Laemmle Theaters throughout LA.
His next project was a short film entitled ³ROSA² which was accepted into the Latino Film Festival, The Santa Monica FF, San Paulo FF in Brazil and chosen to partake in the Slamdance DVD 2002.
