Susan Bowen lives in Brooklyn and is known for her panoramic-style multiple exposures, which she shoots with a plastic camera. Exhibitions in 2004 included solo shows in Las Vegas and Lubbock, TX; in March she exhibited her work large scale at Middle Tennessee State University. Group shows included one at Photographic Center NW in Seattle, Woman Made Gallery in Chicago, and the International Center of Photography School in NYC. She won a third place award at SNAP ’04 National Juried Photography Exhibition at Eastern New Mexico University in April. She was recently a finalist for a public art project in Iowa and was on the cover of the spring issue of Readingground magazine. In 2006 she will be featured in Fotophile Magazine and has 5 solo or 2-person shows scheduled for 2005. Susan has a BA in studio art from Allegheny College and did graduate work at Pratt Institute. She is a computer programmer by trade.
